Jurgen David Starr Sr.

Jurgen David Starr , 57, passed away unexpectedly at 4:41 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the emergency room of St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman following an unexpected heart attack at work.

Jurgen was born in Kassel, Germany on August 19, 1967 the son of Dennis F. Starr and Roswitha Kulcsar. He came to the United States from Germany at a young age and settled in Pennsylvania and later in Ohio.

He was of the protestant faith, attended local schools and was a RC Cars collector. He was a truck driver for the R & J Trucking Company of Boardman for many years and was in the trucking business all his adult life.

Jurgen is survived by his wife, Linda Yates Starr whom he married June 16, 2001; mother, Roswitha Kulcsar of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; father, Dennis F. Starr of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; son, Jurgen D. Starr Jr. of Pennsylvania; two step-sons, Thomas (Amanda) Dawson of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Bradley (Tiffany) Dawson of Hubbard, Ohio; four grandchildren; Amber, Evan, Morgan and Noah. He also leaves a brother, Michael S. Starr and two step-brothers, Kerry Beaver and Kyle Beaver all of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

At Jurgen's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of life gathering will be announced by the family.
