Larry C. Pridemore

November 11, 1945 — April 3, 2015

NILES - Larry C. Pridemore, 69, passed away peacefully at 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at his residence following a short illness with cancer. He was born in Kelso, Washington on November 5, 1945 the son of Carl and Virginia (Hiebert) Pridemore. He was the owner and operator of the Climbing Higher Tree Removal Service and retired in April of 2009 after working 30 plus years as a laborer at General Motors Lordstown Plant and the UAW Local 1112. Larry honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member and usher at the Apostolic Bible Church. He enjoyed building hot rod cars, machine work and always educated himself and studied about new things. He cherished the time spent being with people especially his family. Larry is survived by five sons, Samuel Lee Pridemore of Deltona, Florida, Larry Michael Pridemore of Niles, Corey Alan (Valerie) Pridemore of Austintown, Daniel Lyn Pridemore of Niles, Jeremy Wayne (Melanie) Pridemore of Mineral Ridge; daughter, Cassandra Beth (Harry) Gaydos of Elwood City, Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth, Matthew David, Nathaniel Joshuah, Zachary Caleb, Yonathan Geffery Mikkal, Isabel Lena, Katherine Anne, Gloria Renee, Ariel Marie, Anastasia Celeste, Summur Rayanne, Skylur Rayne, Owen Crosby; three brothers, Wayne (Pam) Pridemore, Kenneth (Marilyn) Pridemore, Alvin Pridemore all of Garrettsville; three sisters, Linda Watson of Niles, Kathy (Frank) Probst of Lordstown, Peggy Kettler of Garrettsville. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cynthia S. (Reed) Pridemore whom he married on July 26, 1970 and who passed away on February 8, 2012. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Apostolic Bible Church. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at noon at the church where family and friend may also call one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at Kerr Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Trumbull County Honor Guard.
