Lawrence Tripodi

Lawrence Tripodi , 73, passed away on Friday morning February 14, 2025 at the Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He was born in Warren, Ohio on January 3, 1952 the son of Anthony and Domenica (Viole) Tripodi Sr. and lived most of his life in Niles, Ohio.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and Kent State University where he received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. He retired as a Child Support Enforcement Officer with Trumbull County Jobs and Family Services following many years of faithful service. In his retirement, he enjoyed going on cruises, traveling and baking.

Larry is survived by a daughter, Emily (Chad Heinrichs) Tripodi of Louisville, Kentucky; son, John Michael Tripodi of Bryan, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane (Kelty) Tripodi whom he married on August 2, 1986 and who died on October 31, 2024; sister, Mary Tripodi; three brothers, Anthony Tripodi Jr., Louis Tripodi and Joseph A. Tripodi Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday March 10, 2025 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Pastor Joe Cameneti of Believers Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
