Linda Mae Tripodi

Linda Mae Tripodi, 72, passed away peacefully at 7:38 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the St. Joseph Health Center following a short illness. Linda was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 17, 1953 the daughter of William Edward and Katherine (Pluchinsky) Confoey.

Linda was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of St. Pope John XXIII Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed making ceramics as a hobby and was a waitress at several area restaurants for many years. Linda was also a clerk at the former Carlisle Department Store in Niles.

Linda is survived by her husband Kenneth Tripodi whom she married on October 12, 1979; daughter Katie and Tom Hank of Howland; sister Nancy Vaughn of Sterling, Virginia; niece Heather and James Gallas; nephew, Douglas Vaughn II and great-nephews Troy and Nicholas Fracyon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Saint Stephen Church with the Rev. Leo Wehrlin officiating. Burial will be in the Niles City Cemetery.
