Lula C. Foster

Lula C. Foster, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening September 10, 2026 at her home. She was born July 28, 1940 in Lawton, Kentucky the daughter of William and Stella (Loomis) Clay and moved to the Niles area in the 1940’s.

She was a 1959 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked for 35 years at Packard Electric Company retiring on October 1, 1999. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Niles. The focus of her life was the cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.

Lula is survived by her three sons, Luther E. (Kathy) Foster Jr. of Niles, Scott E. (LeAnne) Foster Sr. of Blacksburg, South Carolina, Mark E. Foster of Niles; seven grandchildren, Chad, Carrie, Scott Jr., Sireena, Cody, Hunter, Kayla; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and sister Janie Clay of Niles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Edward Foster Sr. whom she married on December 17, 1960 and who passed away on September 16, 2014; siblings, Cecil Clay, Joseph Clay, Millard Clay, Marie Ramunno, Mary Jackson, Gene Leedy, Harold Clay and James Clay.

Interment was in Pineview Cemetery in Warren.
