Mary Susan Hargett

McDONALD - Mary Susan (Moritz) Hargett, 62, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center following an extended illness. She was born in Warren on April 4, 1953 the daughter of Paul B. and Mary A. (Gillis) Moritz. She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and The Ohio State University. She was a member of the Niles First Presbyterian Church. For ten years she was the legal editor at the Ohio Department of Commerce. Susan is survived by her husband and companion of over twenty years David M. Hargett whom she married on June 10, 2014; son, Kenneth Paul Umech of Chicago, Illinois; father and mother in law, David A. and Mary Elizabeth Hargett of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; sister in law, Beth Marie Davies and two nieces, Danielle and Emilla. The funeral will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Niles City Cemetery Chapel.
