NILES - Mary M. Tabor, 85, passed away peacefully at 9:45pm, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Autumn Hills Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mary was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on March 20, 1929, the daughter of Russell and Maude (Sharp) Fultz and came to this area in 1949. For many years she lived on Highland Avenue SW, Lordstown.
Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and canning. Most of all, she cherished the many family gatherings.
She is survived by two daughters, Diannia (Curtis) Behner of Lordstown, Patricia "Chris" (Barry) Kacmar of Lordstown, three sons, Michael (Diana) Tabor of Salem, Ronald (Donna) Tabor of Southington, Rickey Tabor in Tennessee, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, five brothers, Paul Fultz in Kentucky, Billy Fultz and Tommy Fultz both of Youngstown, Clinton Fultz of Newton Falls, Joe Fultz in Kentucky, two sisters, Katie Owens of Mansfield, Violet Butler in Texas.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Virgil E. Tabor whom she married October 11, 1947 and he died January 7, 2010, a son Larry Tabor, a grandson Chad Frantz, brother Gary Fultz a sister Beulah Parry .
Calling hours will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. At her request a private commital service and burial will be held at Lordstown Cemetery.
