Mary Jane Tripodi

Mary Jane Tripodi , 72, passed away peacefully at 3:55 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, Liberty Township following an extended illness. Mary Jane was born in Youngstown, Ohio on January 19, 1952 the daughter of John Fred and Eleanor Anne (Liggett) Kelty and lived in Niles all of her married life.

Mary Jane was a 1970 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University with a minor in Computer Science. She retired as an administrator with Trumbull County Jobs and Family Services following many years of faithful service. In her retirement, she enjoyed going on cruises, traveling and needle craft.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Lawrence Tripodi whom she married August 2, 1986; son, John Michael Tripodi of Bryan and daughter, Emily Tripodi and Chad Heinrichs of Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Pastor Joe Cameneti of Believers Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
