NILES - Mary B. Wiltrout, 85, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday evening, August 14, 2014 at home. Mary was born in Warren, Ohio on November 11, 1928, the daughter of Joseph (Ottah) and Mary (Nona) Butcher and lived in this area all her life.
Mary, who was affectionately known as Mim was a Niles McKinley High School graduate, employed for over 30 years in the quality control department of Packard Electric Company before her retirement several years ago. She enjoyed listening to polka music and polka dancing at the former Summit Cafe and in recent years at McMenamy's Banquet Center.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Jim) Wiltrout with whom she lived, Donna (Douglas) Taylor of Savage, Minnesota, a son Ronald (Kathy) Wiltrout of Niles, four grandchildren Douglas (Maggie) Taylor, Randi Taylor, Rachael Wiltrout, Bonnie Jo Wiltrout, great-granddaughter Sydney Grace, two sisters in law, AnnaLee Park of Girard, Reyna Butcher of Naples, Fl. and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was married to her husband Donald E. Wiltrout on July 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1993, a son, Donald J. "Willie" Wiltrout, four brothers, Joseph, Edward, Frank, Thomas Butcher, a sister Margaret Butcher are all deceased.
Friends may call at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Stephen Church on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10am with the Rev. Thomas Kraszewski officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
