Melissa Ann (Fonce) Disario

Melissa Ann (Fonce) DiSario , 66, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2024.

Born June 30, 1958 in Warren, Ohio Melissa was a 1976 graduate of Howland High School. She then went on to work for the City of Niles as a police dispatcher for 29 years. She took great pride in her job and was fortunate to retire in 2013. She was a devout Christian and a proud member of Saint Stephen Church in Niles. Melissa was an avid cook and baker, always honoring family recipes and continuing the traditions of her Italian heritage.  When she wasn’t in the kitchen, she was outside soaking up the sun, or snuggling up with her beloved babies-her favorite felines Pino and Mia-and watching the TCM channel.

Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memory, her pride and joy, her son Joseph “Joey” and his wife Abbie whom she adored, dear relatives Kim Mougakos and Sandy Palette, her nephews Michael (Christine), Chris (Dorothy), and Josh, great nieces and nephews, and numerous friends and family.

She was greeted at the gates by her parents, Carmen and Marjorie (Magliaro) Fonce, her sister Heather, and fur babies Princess and Molly.

In honor of her wishes, a private burial will take place in Niles City Cemetery.
