Molly Julia Gales

NILES - Molly Julia (Belenyi) Gales, 92, passed away at 11:00 am on Thursday March 21, 2013 at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home following a short illness. She was born in Tekehaza, Hungary on June 17, 1920 the daughter of Anton and Esther (Humoki) Belenyi.  In 1987, she and her husband moved to Florida and in 2010 they moved back to their hometown of Niles.  A graduate of Niles McKinley High School, she was a member of the Southside Presbyterian Church its choir and ladies auxiliary.  She cherished the time spent with her family's activites. Molly is survived by her husband, William Joseph Gales whom she married on June 22, 1940; daughter, Mary Ann (William) Leonard of Niles; two sons, William (Jacqueline) Gales of Tacoma, Washington,  Richard (Phill) Gales of Macedonia; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Yuhasz. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
