Nancy L. Dando

MINERAL RIDGE - Nancy L. Dando, 88, passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday April 21, 2022 at her daughters residence and under the comforting care of Hospice. Nancy was born in Niles, Ohio on January 14, 1934 the daughter of George L. and Dorothy M. (Kennedy) Davis Sr. and has lived in the Mineral Ridge and Niles area all her life.

Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and an active member of the Lordstown Christian Church where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and cherished the gatherings with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tina and John Breese of Mineral Ridge; two granddaughters, Hailey Dando and Sam Hamley of Niles, Mia Breese and Jacob Warren of Mineral Ridge; four great-grandchildren: Jeremy, Landon, La'Niah and Peighton; one brother, George Davis Jr. of Niles; several Sisters-in-Law, Brothers-in-Law, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Dando Sr. whom she married September 27, 1952 and who died December 10, 2009; daughter Pamela Dando who died June 29, 2014; son Richard A. Dando Jr, who died February 21, 2020; brothers Richard E. Davis and Donald J. Davis.

Funeral services will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the Niles City Cemetery.
