Nancy Lynne Sapio

SEARCY, AR - Nancy Lynne Sapio, 79, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born in Ellijay, Georgia on July 16, 1934 the daughter of Julius and Lellar (Aaron) Weaver. At the age of 14, she met Nicholas R. Sapio at the Struthers City swimming pool. They dated for years and were united in marriage in June of 1954. They were loving companions for 52 years until his death on September 14, 2006. A 1952 graduate of Struthers High School, she worked for several years at Pittsburgh Plate & Glass (PP&G) in the Mahoning Valley. She and her family moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area where they raised three daughters. Nancy is survived by three daughters, Cindy Kilpatrick of Atlanta, Patty Ganus of Searcy, Linda Campbell of Searcy; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, James Weaver of Freehold, New Jersey; brother-in-law, Sam Sapio of Diamond Head, Mississippi; three sisters-in-law, Mary Zaluski, Gloria Groner, Chris McNamara all of the Youngstown area. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Bill Weaver. A funeral service was held at the Big Creek Cemetery in Ellijay, Georgia. Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home Niles, Ohio
