Patty S. Greenfield , 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at the Insight Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was born in Marting, West Virginia on August 16, 1943 the daughter of Joseph and LouAda (Holbrook) Parker Sr. and lived in this community all of her life.
Patty was a 1963 graduate of McDonald High School and worked at Packard Electric Company for over 30 years. She was a member of the Evening Light Apostolic Church in Niles. After retiring from Packard, she worked as a home healthcare aide for over 10 years. Patty had a wonderful sense of humor and loved working at Packard and the friendships she made there. She enjoyed reading Harlequin romance novels, crocheting, playing cards with the Parker family, and "going to the track." Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Patty is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Atty. James) Tadla of McDonald; four grandchildren, Edward Epperley, Tina Epperley, Abigail Greenfield, Jennifer Greenfield; six great grandchildren, Marcia, Xavier, Spencer, Jayce, Nihilus, Santana and a brother, Joseph (Sue) Parker Jr. of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Marie Greenfield, who died December 29, 2024; lifelong partner, Bill Perko; three brothers, Woodrow Parker, Bill Parker, Jesse Parker; three sisters, Frances Mowery, Fay Gimma, Ruth Williams; and former husband Claude D. Greenfield.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday February 20, 2025 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Darrel Cline.
