Paul Eugene Goehring

ERIE,PA - Paul Eugene Goehring, 87, died at 9:02 pm on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Millcreek Manor Nursing Home in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was born in Niles, Ohio on March 3, 1926 the son of Alvah J. and Lillian Grace (Dechert) Goehring. A honorable discharged United States Army Veteran of World War II, he worked at his first and only job at Packard Electric.  He retired at the age of 65 after working 45 years and maintaining a perfect attendance record.  He was a very good man with a very strong work ethic. Paul is survived by his wife Judith Ann (O'neal) Goehring whom he married on July 15, 1961; two sons, Dennis (Lori) Goehring, Dan (Rochelle) Goehring; five grandchildren, Leah, Alexa, Ian, Ashley, Nick; three sisters, Lois Watkins, Mary Infante, Donna (Harold) Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Audrey James. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 126 West Park Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446.
