Paul Richard Kerns

NILES - Paul Richard Kerns 66, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning May 21, 2021 at his residence. Paul was born in Warren, Ohio on March 22, 1955 the son of Paul Ray and Mary (Keener) Kerns and lived in this community most of his life. He was a 1974 graduate of Lakeview High School and a member of the Grace Family Church in Canfield. Since 1978, Paul was a laborer at Thomas Steel Strip in Warren. He enjoyed fishing for walleye at Lake Erie, biking, walking, collecting athletes autographs and Ohio State Sports memorabilia. He participated in many American Civil War Reenactments. Paul is survived by his wife, Davida (Clark) Kerns whom he married September 2, 1978; two daughters, Jaime Kerns and Richard McCullough, Julie and Tyson Voithofer all of Niles; sister, Teresa (Kevin) Been of Castle, Oklahoma. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Darlene Parker. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the funeral home. The Rev. Jonathan Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
