Randall L. Mines

KINSMAN - Randall L. Mines, 63, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday September 24, 2022 at the St. Joseph Health Center following a short battle with cancer.  Randy was born in Warren, Ohio on September 1, 1959 the son of Richard Holeton and Clara G. (Williams) Mines Sr.

He was a 1977 graduate of Howland High School and recently retired as an operator with IBEW Local 245 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). He enjoyed showing his antique tractor, hunting, fishing and woodworking. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.

Randy is survived by his wife of 34 years Shelly (Kaley) Mines whom he married on July 2, 1988; two sons, Terry Johnson of Niles, Matthew Johnson and his girlfriend Jessica Thompson of Williamsfield; seven grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Lid, Gemma, Gianna, Gentry, Alyssa; sister, Barbara (Steve) Pinko of Johnston Township; brother, Richard H. (Mary) Mines Jr. of Vienna and his furry companion dog, Yogi.

Calling Hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles. The funeral will follow calling hours at 7 p.m. Private burial will be on Friday at Howland Township Cemetery in the Mines Family Plot.
