KIRTLAND - Richard Edward Grambo,
70, a retired Vietnam Veteran of Kirtland, Ohio, passed away on
Tuesday January 8, 2013 with his family by his side.
He was born in Cleveland on April 14, 1942 the son
of Theodore S. and Estella V. (Allen) Grambo and lived most of his
life in Kirtland.
Richard was a hard-working, passionate and
successful entrepreneur, chef and businessman. He started his
first business at the age of 19 and subsequently owned various
businesses, including Hires Lounge in Wickliffe, The Olde Towne
Tavern in Kirtland and most recently, the co-owner of the Rumpus
Room in Willowick.
In his spare time, he enjoyed culinary creations,
attending auctions, playing cards and spending time with his wife,
family and many friends.
Richard was extremely loving and proud of his
family including his wife of 44 years, Angela J. Grambo; his sons,
Nicholas J. Costa and Theodore R. Grambo (wife Jenean, children
Tara R. and Josh A.) and his daughter, Jennifer M. Grambo (son
Walker R. Slabe).
The family will receive friends on Saturday,
January 26, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a memorial tribute at
2:00 pm at the Wickliffe I & A Club, 29717 Euclid Avenue,
Wickliffe, Ohio 44092.
