Rita Marie Wimer

NILES - Rita Marie Wimer, 77, passed away at 12:22 a.m. on Monday August 24, 2015 at the White Oak Manor Nursing Home, Warren following an extended illness. She was born in Niles on November 17, 1937 the daughter of Nicholas and Agnes (Smolka) Babosh and lived in Niles most of her life. She was a 1955 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of St. Stephen Church. She worked at the Niles Senior Center and Trumbull Mobile Meals. Rita is survived by her husband, Donald A. Wimer; two sons, Nicholas D. (Melissa) Wimer of Niles, Donald J. Wimer of Howland; three grandchildren, Andrea Wimer, Nathan Wimer and Calyn Wimer. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Babosh. Service of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Richard Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
