Robert A. Penksa

Robert A. Penksa , 77, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, October 25, 2024 at his home. Bob was born in Warren, Ohio on September 17, 1947 the son of Albert J. and Victoria (Kresevich) Penksa Sr. and lived in Niles all his life.

He was a 1965 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and received a football scholarship to the University of Michigan where he was a starting offensive tackle.  Bob graduated from Michigan with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. He furthered his education at Westminster College with a Masters Degree. Bob taught for 28 years in the Warren City School System and also was the owner of Penska Siding and Windows.

He is survived by his wife the former Jolane Carol Toth Penksa whom he married December 19, 1970; daughter Melanie Penksa; two sons Matthew Penksa and Marcus Penksa.

At Bob's request, private services have been held.
