Robert L. Stamper

Robert L. Stamper Jr., 32, of Castle Hayne, North Carolina died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in a traffic accident. Rob was born December 20, 1982 in Warren, Ohio. Rob transformed his life in the months preceding his death. His children inspired Rob and he wanted them to be proud of the man he had become. At the time of his death, Rob was happily employed at WalkerWorld Organic Artist Retreat in Castle Hayne, NC, where he helped create beautiful structures from salvaged materials. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Stamper Sr., and sister, Amy Stamper. Rob is survived by his beloved children, Mya, Trysten, and Madison and their mother Krysta Russell of Wilmington, NC, from whom he was amicably separated. Rob will be sorely missed by his sister, Michelle Stamper of Warren and mother and stepfather, Margaret and Greg Jones of Wilmington, NC. Rob departed this world surrounded by the prayers of his grandmothers, Mary E. Welch of Niles and Barbara Kester of Wilmington, NC. Rob is also survived by his grandfather, Robert E. Stamper of Leavittsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Niles. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
