Robert D. Williams

Robert D. Williams, 71, passed away on Thursday morning July 30, 2026 in the Emergency Department at Mercy Health Saint Joseph Hospital – Warren.

He was born April 4, 1955 in Warren, Ohio the son of Robert G. and Hazel E. (James) Williams and resided in this community his entire life.

Bob was a 1973 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked for many years in the maintenance department at RMI Titanium in Niles. He enjoyed fishing, attending drag races, watching NASCAR, WWF wrestling and spending Friday nights cheering on the Niles McKinley Red Dragon Football Team.

Bob is survived by his son Robert A. Williams of Niles; two sisters Lori (James) Julian of Niles, Barbara (Kenneth) Werden of Niles; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Shawn) Crank, Ryan (Kristen) Werden, Jimmy Julian, Chris Julian, Katie (Ian) Schlabs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patricia JoAnn Williams.

A family funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 4, 2026 in the Chapel of Kerr Cemetery. Burial will follow in Kerr Cemetery. Reverend David Conrad of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Niles will officiate.
