Rochelle Ruman Ensor

November 1, 1960 — August 25, 2014

McDONALD - Rochelle Ruman Ensor, 53, passed away peacefully at 6:20 pm on Monday August 25, 2014 surrounded by her family at the St. Joseph Health Center of carcinoid cancer. She was born in Warren on November 1, 1960 the daughter of Steve T. and Sylvia J.(Palko) Ruman. A 1979 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, she attended YSU and studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition becoming a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She was a gifted artist and belonged to Trumbull Area Artists and Trumbull Area Gallery. Her hobbies included photography, the outdoors, animals, horseback riding, skiing and traveling. Rochelle worked at the Niles Bank, Cold Metal Products and currently was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Gasearch in Liberty Township. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Mineral Ridge. Rochelle courageously battled carcinoid cancer for 19 years which included multiple liver surgeries, procedures, a clinical trial in Columbus and a liver transplant. She amazed everyone who knew her, including her medical caregivers with her strength, determination and will to live. However when the time came she surrendered to the illness with wisdom and grace. Rochelle is survived by her husband, Wayne Ensor whom she married on August 26, 1999; mother Sylvia J. Ruman of Liberty; sister, Lisa Marie Ruman of Westlake; aunt, Mary Ann Casey of Niles; uncle, Pete Ruman of Niles and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Steve T. Ruman who died September 28, 2013; grandparents, Steve and Agnes Palko, Steve and Anna Ruman; aunts and uncles, Frank Ruman, Bill and Denise Ruman, Walt and Sophie Ruman. Calling Hours will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Service of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Thomas Kraszewski will officiate. Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank St. Joseph Cancer Center, Dr. Chahine and staff. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Animal Welfare League 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE, Vienna, Ohio 44473.
