Ronald D. Bays Sr. & Diana Lynn Bays

Diana Lynn Foster Bays, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday June 15, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family and Ronald David Bays Sr., 72, passed away on Thursday September 24, 2026 at his home of a heart ailment.

Diana was born February 3, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Thomas Henry and Naomi (Malcolmson) Foster. She was a 1976 graduate of Howland High School and worked as a doctor’s assistant. She was widely known for her immense kindness, vibrant sense of humor and contagious laugh. She enjoyed bowling.

Ronald was born January 10, 1954 in Garrett, Maryland the son of Lewis William and Helen Elizabeth (Teets) Bays. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed helping others with car and small engine repairs. He also enjoyed woodworking and camping.

They were married on March 8, 1980 and together they enjoyed exploring flea markets and cherished the quality time spent with their loved ones. Together they shared 46 beautiful years of marriage, love and happiness.

They are survived by their children, Reesha (Mark) Myers of Niles, Ronald D. (Laura) Bays Jr. of Warren and two granddaughters, Lilianna and Brielle Bays. They also leave behind a very special cousin whom they cherished like a granddaughter, Miranda (Paul) May and Miranda’s two sons, Liam and Kayden Wick all of Warren.

Diana is also survived by her mother, Naomi Foster of Warren; sister, Tami (John) Steele of Warren; two nephews, Andrew (Allison) Steele and Evan (Jessica) Steele. She was preceded in death by her father and grandmother, Pearl Foster.

Ronald is also survived by his sister, Linda Lou Miller of McDonald. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Gordon and William Bays.

Honoring their wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of their life will be held at a later date. They will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing them.
