Ronald G. Scherich

NILES - Ronald Gale Scherich, 40, passed away on Sunday morning August 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Warren on November 28, 1973 the son of Ronald G. and Valerie (Piper) Scherich. Ronnie was a good son, a good and loving husband with a wonderful funny personality. A 1992 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, he attended The Ohio State University and Kent State University. He currently was employed as a mill wright at General Motors Lordstown. A Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed watching football and movies, yard work, swimming and especially walking his dog, Dimitri. Ronnie is survived by his wife, "The love of his life and best friend", Kristen Nicole (Toth) Scherich whom he married on September 8, 2012; parents, Ronald G. & Valerie Scherich of Niles; two sisters, Carla Scherich of Niles, Andrea (Ronald) Wright of Cortland; two nieces, Lauren Syersak, Ryleigh Wright; nephew, Cole Wright; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Curtis Miller of the New Hope Methodist Church will officiate.
