Ronald G. Slezyak

Ronald G. Slezyak, 71, passed away following a brief illness at 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the Continuing Health Care of Niles.

Ronald was born in Warren, Ohio on March 29, 1954 the son of John G. and Mary Elizabeth (Janow) Slezyak and has lived here his entire life.

Ronald was a 1972 Niles McKinley High School graduate and a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Saint Stephen Church. He was a Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved cats. He was a well versed musician, playing the acoustic guitar, electric guitar and ukulele.

Ronald is survived by his two loving brothers with whom he resided, Jerry T. Slezyak and Richard J. Slezyak who were with him each day during his illness until the Lord called him home. Also survived by several extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Saint Stephen Church with burial at Niles City Cemetery.

His brothers request that memorial contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Yo.-Kingsville Rd. Vienna, Ohio 44473 in his memory.
