Rose Marie Gress

NILES - Rose Marie Gress, 66, passed away peacefully at 12:30p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Hospice House, North Lima following an extended illness. Rose was born in Chambersville, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1954 the daughter of Floyd A. and Theresa (Buynak) Gress. Rose has lived in the Niles area most of her life. She was of the catholic faith and graduated from Niles McKinley High School. Rose was employed for the PharMor Corporation as a cashier and a stock inventory person. She enjoyed reading and was a longtime caregiver for her nieces and nephews during their younger years. Rose is survived by four sisters, Shirley Bays with whom she made her home, Helen (John) Cramer of Niles, Virginia White of Warren, Patricia Frank of Niles, two brothers, Vincent McNevin of Indiana, Pa, William Gress of Weathersfield Twsp., sister-in-law, Barbara McNevin of Niles, and many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, David McNevin, Frank Gress, two sisters, Theresa Harker, Daisy Beall. Rose made the request of no calling hours or funeral services at this time and burial will be in Saint Stephen Cemetery.
