Russell M. "Buck" Shaw

NILES - Russell M. "Buck" Shaw Sr., 76, died on Wednesday morning April 13, 2016 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Niles on August 26, 1939 the son of Clarence and Ethel (Vivian) Shaw and resided in the community his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old western movies, sports especially football and nascar. He loved the challange of fixing cars. Russell is survived by a daughter, Ethel "Eedie" (David) Conway of Wickliffe; son, Russell M. (Debra) Shaw Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Dary, Juanita, Doris, Crissy, David, Joseph, Samuel, Kayla, Alanna; six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie I. Miller Shaw whom he married on November 25, 1961 and who died on January 17, 1992; daughter, Priscilla Hodge and a sister, Mable Kapuchuck. The funeral will be Saturday April 16, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call from 2:30 p.m. to the service. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
