Ruth Irene Anthony

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA - Ruth Irene Anthony, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 14, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Warren, Ohio on December 9, 1925 the daughter of Daniel and Olive (Webb) McCormick. Formerly of Niles, she had been a resident of Fort Myers for the past 27 years. Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Lee Andrew Anthony who she married on January 3, 1945; son, George (Cindy) Anthony of Orlando, Florida; three daughters, Sandra (John) Haldie of Bonita Springs, Florida, Kathy (Chuck) Eddy of Canfield, Ohio, Ruth (Basil) Polivka of Charlotte, North Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. A Graveside Funeral Service will be Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pineview Cemetery Chapel 4049 Youngstown Road Warren, Ohio 44484.
