WEATHERSFIELD TOWNSHIP – Sandra Lee Ansback, 67, passed away peacefully at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021at Hospice House in Poland following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania on April 14, 1954 the daughter of George Wallace and Josephine Frances (Staerker) Wilmarth.  Sandy received correctional officer training from the New Jersey State Highway Patrol and for ten years was an officer at the Hunterdon County New Jersey Correctional Facility.  After moving to Texas, she worked ten years at the Cardinal Health Distribution Center in Roanoke and later was a correctional officer at the Jack Harwell Federal Detention Center in Waco.  She also worked at the Connally School System.  She was a member of Believers Church in Warren and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, crafting, camping, fishing, horseback riding and collecting angels.  Sandy is survived by her husband Richard Gene Ansback whom she married on February 7, 1976; two daughters, Cheryl Lee (Daniel) Race of Orefield, Pennsylvania, Tennile Lynn (Jeramie Glen) Edwards of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Rebecca Williamson, Jason Glen Edwards, Amanda Marie Edwards; great grandson, Hayden Casey George Williamson; sister, Deborah (Frank) Dallarosa of Milford, Delaware; brother, Wally (Dorothy) Wilmarth of Easton, Pennsylvania; niece, Jessica Dallarosa; two nephews, Anthony Dallarosa and Kyle Wilmarth.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  The family said a private and loving “Good Bye” to Sandy.  No funeral service will be held.  Arrangements by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 126 West Park Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446 330-652-4311.
