Sandra F. Honzu, 85, passed away on Wednesday morning May 6, 2026 at her home. She was born October 21, 1940 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Howard W. and Hazel (Jackson) Greenfield Sr. and resided most of her life in Niles.
Sandy gave her life to Jesus in March of 2025. She took great pride and devoted her time to her family and church family. She was a member of the Holiness Gospel Mission in Niles where she loved attending all the church functions. She was a dedicated Notary for thirty plus years and also worked at the Bombay Bicycle Club Restaurant in Niles.
Sandy is survived by her children, Robert “Bob” (Sue) Cover of Mineral Ridge, Richard “Rick” Francis with whom she made her home in Niles, David (Debbie) Francis of Weathersfield Township, Paul (Melissa) Francis of Niles, Bethann Francis Nolen of Warren; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; brother, Charles Greenfield of Mesquite, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Honzu; daughter, Debra S. Saxon; grandson Kristofer VanHorn; three brothers, Howard Jr., Claude and Jack.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday May 16, 2026 at the Holiness Gospel Mission 25 North Butler Street in Niles. A luncheon will follow at the large pavilion in Waddell Park in Niles.
