Sherri R. Cummings

Sherri R. Cummings, 69, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born on August 11, 1956 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of William F. and Josephine M (Rudy) Cornwell. She attended Niles McKinley High School.

Sherri loved the outdoors, planting and caring for flowers and bird watching. She cherished the time spent with her family.

Sherri is survived by her husband Randy L. Cummings; two daughters, Rhonda Cummings of Warren, Malinda Clay of Warren; six grandchildren, Dustin Moore (Kristia), Andrew Belknap, Chassidy Cummings (Ahmad), Greggory Teasley (Daisy), Rae-Lee Parker (Tim), Marshall Moore; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Marcia (Bob) Lazich of Warren, Tami (Todd) Weese of Niles; brother, William “Skip” (Kathleen) Cornwell of Florida; her best friend of 43 years, Helen Shick of Niles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Melissa Moore.

Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours and funeral service.
