Starkey Ray Gilliam

NILES - Starkey Ray Gilliam, 39, died at 5:56pm, Sunday evening, June 29, 2014 at the St. Joseph Health Center, emergency room following a heart attack suffered at home. He was born in Warren on December 4, 1974 the son of Charles Starkey and Iris J. (Deaton) Gilliam and lived in this community his entire life. A 1993 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, he was an automobile detailer at Coates Car Care. He was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church. Starkey is survived by his wife Jessica Ann (Mills) Gilliam whom he married on September 30, 1995; three children, Alexis R. Gilliam, Ayden S. Gilliam, Ethan A. Gilliam; his parents, Charles Starkey and Iris Gilliam all of Niles; brother, David P. (Christina) Gilliam of Niles and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
