CORTLAND - Terrence R. Farrell,
59, a well known disc jockey with the name Terry Professor
Jam died at 7:54pm, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the St.
Elizabeth Health Center following a long illness. Terry was
born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 15, 1954 the son of Robert and
Bernadine (Mihalek) Farrell and has lived in this area all his
life.
Terry was a 1972 graduate from Avon Lake High
School and attended Ohio State University for three years as a
History major, was of the Catholic faith and previously attended
Saint Pius Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar in a family
band, was a self employed disc jockey and employed as a receiver
for the Champion Sparkle Market.
Terry is survived by his wife, Barbara A. (Strah)
Farrell whom he married September 15, 1979, son, Jason
Farrell at home, father, Robert Farrell of Dothan, Al.,
sister, JoAnn (Kyle) Smith of Port Charlotte, Fl., brother,
Daniel (Kerry) Farrell of Dothan, Al., brother-in-law,
Michael Strah of Niles, two sisters-in-law, Theresa (Jim)
Hopper of Mineral Ridge, Fran (John) Jerome of McDonald, four
nieces, three nephews, one great-niece, five great-nephews, and
numerous wonderful cousins, living in many areas of the country,
that were like brothers and sisters to Terry during his
illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Family and friends may call at the Holeton-Yuhasz
Funeral Home, Niles, on Wednesday April 3, 2013 from 2:00pm until
the 5:00pm funeral service at the funeral home. Chaplain Carol
Yablonovsky officiating.
