Thelma J. Tedesco

Thelma J. Tedesco, 77, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the St. Joseph Health Center. She was born in Warren, Ohio on September 25, 1944 the daughter of Leonard L. and Patrina E. (Segreto) Corso.

She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles and enjoyed sewing, playing bingo and traveling to the casinos. She was a wonderful cook of Italian cuisine. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Thelma is survived by a daughter, Marci Lynne (Gary) Conti of Youngstown; son, James (Gina) Tedesco of Niles; five grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Hannah, Dylan, Ava; two sisters, Rose Menegos of Texas and Josephine Menegos of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Louis Tedesco whom she married on April 4, 1970; son, Thomas A. Tedesco and brother, Leonard John Corso.

A Private Service of Christian Burial was held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Worriers Project in honor of her husband, son, and father, all of whom were veterans.
