GRAYSON, KY - Victor Sparks, 74 of
Grayson and formerly of Niles, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon at his
daughters residence with whom he resided.
He was born in Grayson on April 4, 1938 the
son of Sherman and Odell (Cline) Sparks.
He was a retired pipeliner with Local 798, a United
States Navy veteran, and of the Pentecostal Faith.
Victor is survived by two sons; Marvin and Wayne
Sparks both of Grayson; five daughters, Victoria (Michael)Strock,
Charlene Hall, and Sue Hall all of Grayson, Hazel Basham of
Flatwoods, KY and Darlene Stewart of Ironton, OH; two
step-daughters, Kimberly Culver and Veronica Aiosa both of Niles;
step-son Rocky Hanshaw of Pennsylvania; three brothers, two
sisters and twenty-two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife
Gaye (Hanshaw) Sparks whom he married on September 1, 1972 and who
died on April 5, 2007.
Calling Hours will be Friday, March 29, 2013 from
11 am to 1:00 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The
funeral will follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Rev.
Garey McCartney will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr
Cemetery.
