Virginia March

NILES - Virginia "Bubba" March, 84, died at 8:11 a.m. on Sunday February 1, 2015 at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born in Warren on August 12, 1930 the daughter of Marko and Matilda (Gricnik) Rek. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Niles. She enjoyed traveling and expressed her love to others by sharing her homemade cooking and baking dishes. Virginia was devoted to her family and is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Joseph W.) Cappello Sr. of Niles; son, James (Rachel) March of Niles; five grandchildren, Matthew (Brandy) Klouse, Gregory (Jessica) Klouse, Laura Klouse, Stephanie (Anthony) Tamburro, Stacey March and a great granddaughter, Hailey Joy Klouse. She was preceded in death by her husband, John March Jr. whom she married on November 29, 1952 and who died on August 2, 2006; six sisters, Mary Redmond, Christine Anastos, Matilda Sapino, Irene Duda, Ann Groff, Elizabeth Roberts; three brothers, August Rek, Raymond Rek, William Rek. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Service of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
