HOWLAND - William E. Cochran
Sr., 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 20,
2013 at his mother's residence. He was born in Warren on May
12, 1942 the son of William F. and Margaret I. (Hake)
Cochran.
Bill was a kind individual that enjoyed his
family and cherished all the family activities. He retired in
1996 after working 25 years as a mill wright at WCI Steel. He
also worked at J & L Steel Company and the Warren Sanitary
Dairy. He was a member of the Niles First Community Church of
the Nazarene. He enjoyed working in his garage and riding
motor cycles.
Bill is survived by his mother, Margaret I.
Cochran of Howland; son, William E. (Loree) Cochran Jr. of Howland;
two grandsons, William E. Cochran III and Michael Morrel Jr..
He was preceded in death by his father; wife,
Ruth Hazel (Burgess) Cochran whom he married on July 16, 1960 and
who passed away on October 12, 2000 and his beloved dog with whom
he was close, Frankie.
Calling Hours will be Friday, March 22, 2013 from
5 to 7 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral
will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral
home. Rev. Gary Morgan will officiate. Burial will be
in Howland Township Cemetery.
