William James Marcella

NEW CASTLE, PA - William James Marcella, 44, died on Friday evening February 15, 2013 following an auto accident in Bristol, Virginia.  He was born in Warren, Ohio on March 11, 1968 the son of Mary Jane Marcella. Bill was a 1986 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed for six months at the Golf Club Restaurant in Bristol. He was a member of the McDonald First Baptist Church and enjoyed Nascar, the Chicago Bears Football team, outdoor activities and watching his son play for the Little Red Dragons football. He is survived by Wife, Pamela (Duecaster) Marcella whom he married on March 13, 2007; parents Jane and David Whitacre of Niles; four children, Jacob Prater, Joseph Marcella, Makayla Marcella and Erin Duecaster all of New Castle, Penn.; two brothers and two sisters, David (Chris) Whitacre of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Lillian (Tom Shingleton) Dillon of Youngstown, John (Jessica) Whitacre of Warren, and Bridget (Robert Rosenbaum) Whitacre of Niles and many other relatives. His grandparents and a brother David Alan Whitacre are deceased. Funeral services will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 7:00 pm with the Rev. James Mashburn officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00pm until the time of the services. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
