GIRARD - Wilma Irene Kasiewicz,
77, went to be with Jesus at 6:09 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at
the St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.
She was born in Scottdale, Pennsylvania on April
20, 1936 the daughter of Matthew and Gladys (Wiltrout) Kozak.
She was a member of St. Stephen Church, Niles
Catholic Womens Club and a CCD teacher at St. Stephen. She
enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows on television. She
cherished the time spent with activities and games with her
children and grandchildren.
A loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother,
Wilma is survived by her husband, Henry L. Kasiewicz whom she
married on June 4, 1952; five children, Dennis (Catherine)
Kasiewicz, Ted Kasiewicz of Girard, Marian (George) Schorsten of
Boardman, Thomas (Patricia) Kasiewicz of Niles, Andrew (Cindy)
Kasiewicz of Niles; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren;
sister, Wilda (Ron) Hoffer of Acme, Pennsylvania; three
brothers, Waide (Alberta) Kozak of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania,
Wilbert (Martha) Kozak of Scottsdale, Arizona, Wayne (Bonnie) Kozak
of White, Pennsylvania.
Calling Hours will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from
11:30 am to 12:45 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Mass
of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Stephen
Church. Rev. Thomas Kraszewski will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
