NILES - Benjamin Franklin Pressell III, 49, died at 7:31 p.m. on Monday November 24, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman following an extended illness.
He was born in Warren on November 23, 1965 the son of Benjamin Franklin and JoAnn (Woods) Pressell Jr.and lived in this community his entire life.
He was a 1985 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and received an EKG certificate from Columbus State. A member of the Niles First Christian Church, he enjoyed sports and cheered for the Niles McKinley Red Dragons, Cleveland Browns, Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed listening to music especially Elvis Presley.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Pressell with whom he lived; brother, Richard (Shelly) Pressell of Warren; sister, Lynn Marie Sears of Grove City, Ohio; nephew, Benjamin Sears; three nieces, Hannah Sears, Erin Pressell, Faith Pressell.
He was preceded in death by his father who died on December 11, 1984 and his grandparents.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The Funeral will follow at 7 p.m. Rev. Cynthia Klingemier will officiate. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
