Brenda Anne Carnahan , 85, passed away on Wednesday morning May 28, 2025 at her home. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on April 1, 1940 the daughter of Theodore T. and Virginia Isabella (Rayle) Hanlin.
She was a member of the Evening Light Apostolic Church in Niles and enjoyed fishing, puzzles and driving in her car. She was a nurses aide for 16 years at Washington Square Nursing Home and retired in 2002.
Brenda is survived by two daughters, Constance "Connie" (Joe) Brown of Warren, Kimberly (Edward) Myers of Palm Beach, Florida; two sons, Howard Carnahan, Gene Thomas Carnahan; ten grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Haynes, Lorna Grimm, Cynthia Grimm, Sandy Lancaster, Ellen Everheart, Vivian Dear, Martin Dear, James Dear and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Thomas Carnahan whom she married on September 18, 1956 and who died on July 11, 2002; son, Michael Carnahan and brothers, Delvin Hanlin, Michael Hanlin, Jerome Dear.
A Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday June 2, 2025 at the Evening Light Apostolic Church in Niles. Pastor Darrel Cline will officiate. Burial will be at Kerr Cemetery.
