Clinton Otis Smith Jr.

Clinton Otis Smith Jr., 60, passed away at 8:49 p.m. on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the St. Joseph Health Center following a short illness. He was born in Warren, Ohio on February 21, 1963 the son of Clinton Otis and June (Farley) Smith Sr. He was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and was an account specialist at First Choice Rentals in Warren. He was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church on DeForest Road in Warren.

Clinton was a very loving, caring and generous man whom always had a smile on his face. Clinton always seemed to know people no matter where he went, whether it was during a family vacation or someone he ran into while out and about. Clinton would do anything for anybody, especially his family. Clinton was a very hard worker and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Clinton played darts throughout his life and was ranked number one in the country at one time. Clinton always brought a smile to anyone's face, always had a kind word to say and always made you laugh with his silly sense of humor. Clinton will be so dearly loved and missed by his wife of 12 years and family members and friends on a daily basis. Forever in our hearts and minds.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Brandy D. (Stewart) Smith whom he married on May 21, 2011; three sons, David Malcomson, Jacob Malcomson, Austin Malcomson all of Niles; siblings, Farley Smith of Akron, Malcotis Smith of Pennsylvania, Alicia Smith of Georgia, Sardia (Eric) Jordan of Georgia, Octavius (Kimberly) Smith of Niles, Finale Smith of Mineral Ridge; mother in law Melissa Berg of Mineral Ridge. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Junotis Lockwood, Aaron Smith and Mara Smith.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday July 7, 2023 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church 3101 DeForest Road SE, Warren, Ohio 44484. The Funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Rev. Douglas Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
