David Earl Moore

David Earl Moore, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening July 30, 2023 in the comfort of his residence following an extended illness. David was born in Warren, Ohio on June 10, 1955 the son of Bryon and Gladys (Drain) Moore.

David was a 1973 graduate of Lordstown High School and was a faithful employee for the Connecticut State Fish Hatcheries where he was a maintainer for 13 years. He then retired from the Cobra Motorcycle Company of North Lime following four years of employment. He was a member of Saint Stephen Catholic Church of Niles, enjoyed going fishing and playing his guitar. He was a basketball coach for the Saint Patrick grade School of Hubbard for many years. He liked to watch and listen to old movies and music and cherished the gatherings with his family and extended relatives.

David is survived by his wife Agnes "Aggie" Papa Moore whom he married June 26, 1982; mother, Gladys Moore of Mineral Ridge, two daughters Sabrina (Brian) Matve of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Amanda (Eric) Basek of Sarasota, Florida; five grandchildren, Elijah Payeur, Jeremiah Payeur, Judah Payeur, Sophia Payeur, Logan Basek; two sisters: Debra (Kevin) Kot of Niles, Denise (Jeff) Richards of Austintown; brother, Denny (Renee) Moore of Bristolville, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with bereavement prayers at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in Saint Stephen Church on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Steven J. Agostino officiating. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
