Obituary
Deanna Marie Thomas, 56, passed away on Monday February 13, 2023 at her home. She was born in Warren, Ohio on February 13, 1967 the daughter of Vearl W. and Barbara Sue (Holbrook) Thomas.
Deanna was a 1985 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She worked at McQuaids Gas Station in Girard, the Great Lakes Cheese Company, Goodwill Industries and was a home health care aide. She enjoyed walking, listening to music, family activities and most of all she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Deanna is survived by a daughter, Bethany Porter of Chillicothe; two granddaughters, Aleah Masincupp, Emily Porter; long time companion Gary Welch; three sisters, Renee (Don) Cormell of McDonald, Pam (John) Gargano of Niles, Rita (Merle Jr.) Smith of Byram, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Nina Thomas of Niles and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Thomas.
At her request, private services were held. Burial was in Kerr Cemetery with her parents. Arrangements by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 126 West Park Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446.
