Donna Lee Howell

NILES - Donna Lee Howell, 79, passed away at 7:26 p.m. on Monday June 28, 2021 at the Continuing Health Care of Niles following an extended illness. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on April 9, 1942 the daughter of Donald H. and Viola (Bergagna) Kyle and graduated in 1961 from Ursuline High School. For many years she worked at Sportsmasters and was an aide at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Cortland First Church of God and enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, Sunday drives and activities at her church. Most of all, she cherished the time spent entertaining and being with family and friends.
Donna is survived by her husband Ernest E. "Ernie" Howell whom she married on October 9, 1982; seven children, Dorothea (Larry) Haugh of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Pam Weeks of Denton, Texas, Kimberly Linebaugh of Niles, Tami (Eddie) Singleton of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Tracy (Jenny) Weeks of Niles, Kim (John) Jennings of Kodiak, Tennessee, Robert (Darlene) Howell of Genoa, West Virginia; 27 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Clifford Weeks, Kenneth F. Hilty III; granddaughter; great grandson; two sisters, Shirley Roberts, Debra Milligan and a brother, Donald Kyle.
A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday July 3, 2021 at the Cortland First Church of God, 541 S. High Street, Cortland, Ohio 44410 where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Following the service a memorial dinner will be held in her honor at the church.
