CHAMPION - Earl Francis White 88, comfortably passed away at 6:55 a.m. on Monday January 4, 2021 at the St. Joseph Health Center. He was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 1, 1932 the son of Samuel Arthur and Lena Margaret (Deemer) White. Earl honorably served in the United States Army as a Logistician Specialist and was highly respected by his Officers in Charge. Earl (Whity) dedicated 30 years to Republic Steel before he retired. He then served the State of Ohio for many years afterwards. Once retired again he and his wife eventually, after being "Snowbirds", made Crystal River, Florida their home for the next 26 years where he made many friends.
Earl is survived by five grandchildren, Melissa (Rich) Lemasters of Newton Falls, Krystal Marks of Boise, Idaho, Shawn White of Atlanta, Georgia, Adrienn Reed of Warren, and Michael Frondorf of Mercer, Pennsylvania. His nephews Cliff and Donnie White whom in both Florida and in Ohio did so much for him. Dan & Dave Miller, Tim, Joe, & Jeff Kovacich, and niece Debbie Hensley. He loved his six great grandchildren and one great great grandson. His lifelong friend Lula also brought him great joy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Jeanne, who died in 2016; son Richard D. White and daughter Lynda A. Frondorf; his niece Diane Campbell; his two brothers, Orville and Dean White and sisters Bernice Miller and Evelyn Kovacich. He missed them all greatly every day.
Earl requested that no service be held, and respects everyone's way to individually say goodbye. He loved the Indians and the Browns, Burger King Coffee & French Toast Stix, the hot Florida weather and the fact he could be closer to family in Ohio rather than Florida. He despised Florida politicians (especially the governor), the outgoing president, and the damned Ohio cold.
A small graveside service will be held in Lordstown Cemetery, where he will lay next to his wife and daughter. Arrangements by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles. Visit holetonyuhasz.com
