Obituary
Edward J. McFadden, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday morning, September 10, 2023 with his loving wife at his side following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 20, 1948 the son of John Paul and Doris Marie (Kramer) McFadden Sr. and has lived in this area most of his life.
Ed honorably served in the United States Air Force and spent 18 months in Vietnam. He worked for 20 years as a Railroad Engineer and retired from Delphi Packard Electric.
Ed is survived by his wife and the love of his life Kathleen Ann "Kathy" (Rufh) McFadden whom he married on December 6, 1990; three daughters, Shannon (Chris) Stanton of Williamston, North Carolina, Molly McFadden of Greenville, North Carolina, Danielle "Rached" McFadden of Poland; three grandchildren, Caleb, Audrey, Diana Stanton; sister, Kathleen McMahon of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Paul "Jack" McFadden Jr.
Ed's motto was "Life is a series of adventures, some good and some not so good, but learn from each."
At Ed's request, there are no services.
