Frank Clement King

Liberty Township - Frank C. King 85, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning March 10, 2022 at his home. He was born in Niles, Ohio on November 23, 1936 the son of Martin and Mary A. (Cupen) King and has lived in this area all his life.

Frank was a 1954 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and honorably served in the United States Army from March 31,1958 to March 22, 1961. Frank was a longtime faithful computer technician for the National Cash Register Company and there after worked for A.T. & T. as a repairman. Frank was a member of St. Stephen Church in Niles, and a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Brown fan. He was an extreme cat and dog lover and over the years cared for several cats and his loving yorkies. He was a handyman and enjoyed caring for his home and building many items.

Frank is survived by two step-daughters, Brenda Newlin Globeck of Liberty Township, Bambi (Reid) Harrington of Toledo; three grandchildren, Aaron Globeck, Alexandria Globeck, Callan Harrington. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia S. Joseph King whom he married June 24, 1974 and she passed away on September 29, 2021; sister, Kathryn Bokan and three brothers, Thomas King, Elmer King, Leo A. King.

I would rather have a single rose from the garden of a friend, than have the choicest flowers when my stay on this earth must end. I would rather have the kindest words, which may be said to me, than flattered when my heart is still-- and this life has ceased to be.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services with burial at the Niles City Cemetery on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
