Heidi Leann (Bland) Malachin, 48, passed away unexpectedly at 6:04 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown following a short illness. Heidi was born in Warren, Ohio on July 20, 1973 the daughter of Daniel and Shirley (Rood) Bland.

Heidi formerly lived in Howland Township, graduated in 1991 from Howland High School and was employed for over ten years as a meter reader for the Dominion Gas Company. She enjoyed playing pool and caring for her dogs.

Heidi is survived by her parents of Howland Township; daughter Alyssa Malachin and her companion Anthony Shepard of Cleveland; husband Andrew Malachin of Youngstown whom she married February 10, 1996; two sisters Jolene (Daniel) Taub of Mineral Ridge, Niki (Bill) Roberts of Jackson Center, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.

At Heidi's request there are currently no calling hours and a celebration of life will be announced by her family in the near future.
